That’s where you come in.

The Executive Producer is the main point of contact between Publicis, Clients and other production/technology resources. The Executive Producer will be responsible for initiating and planning for new products or product enhancements. The EIP works directly with the Director of Broadcast and other senior management of Publicis in the West to help prioritize projects and initiatives that may come from Creative, Account or other groups within the organization. He or she also interfaces with central technology teams, dedicated development resources, creative teams, advertising operations and many other groups to insure the site is a well-oiled machine, and that problems are solved or escalated accordingly.

The Executive Producer's understanding of the business's goals, product analysis, technology and resources, project management, and product development and management is crucial to the success of this position. He or she will have intimate knowledge of the Internet and what its capabilities are to be able to suggest pre-existing alternatives or ways to streamline a product’s development.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a company-wide understanding of how creative interactive projects are conceived, communicated, executed and tracked within the company and across vendors and partners
• Track, report and regulate major production issues, significant business development needs, as well as program reports and results
• Create an organizational structure and processes that allow the team to efficiently produce high-quality work on time and on budget.
• Update senior management on account activity, opportunities and challenges
• Build and cross-train interactive production department and ensure knowledge transfer across all staff
• Keep up with industry trends and integrate the intelligent use of project management and production processes into strategic recommendations
• Make recommendations to Publicis in the West on ways to streamline delivery time/cost for products (e.g., by leveraging existing products)
• Contribute to efforts to choose outside vendors and ensure that vendor-provided work is up to standards on an ongoing basis
• Continually monitor established and emerging competitors
• Identify opportunities to improve design and production processes and techniques
• Provide leadership on global online advertising market trends, patterns and customer requirements. Capitalize on this knowledge to develop new and innovative products
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management

Experience and Abilities

• BA/BS degree required
• 7–10 years experience Interactive marketing & project management
• Possess an up-to-date understanding of design software and web technologies
• Strong interactive marketing expertise with an integrated marketing perspective
• Experience building, managing and coaching teams of project management/producer professionals
• Ability and proven track record of process development and implementation within a digital marketing environment
• Excellent project and financial management skills
• Outstanding and persuasive client-facing skills
• Have an in-depth understanding of each client’s target audience and their web usage
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and exceptional integrity
• Ability to operate effectively in strategic and tactical modes
